Kentucky Birth Coalition relies on donations and volunteers to operate. Through your support, we have achieved so much!
Give for Good, on September 12, 2024, is one of two annual days of online giving in which we participate, and it is a major source of funding for us. We earn bonus funds from the prize pool based on how many donations we received (quantity, not dollar amount!), and there are many opportunities for your donation to be selected to earn us even more in prizes. We are SO close to passing legislation to make it much easier for a freestanding birth center to operate in Kentucky. We are working HARD to make it possible for Certified Professional Midwives to accept Medicaid. Both of these things have a major chance of becoming reality through the passage of legislation in the next 12 months.

Prizes! Greatest 2 Minutes in Giving
There are tons of opportunities for KBC to earn prizes. You can give any time, but if you want to be strategic, here’s an opportunity:
Set your alarm! On September 12 from 7:15pm – 7:17pm Eastern Time is the “Greatest Two Minutes in Giving” sponsored by Churchill Downs. Donations made during this time period will be randomly selected to be boosted by up to $20,000!
Also, ourganizations in our category with the highest number of unique donations (quantity, not dollar amount) can win prizes. We have won in this cateory in the past, and we can do it again with your support!
