Once in the Capitol Parking Garage
Take the parking garage elevator UP to Level 1 (Level 6 is the bottom level of the garage). Upon exiting the elevator on Level 1, proceed straight ahead through the glass doors to the outside parking lot. The Capitol Annex is directly ahead of you. The Capitol building is slightly to your right.

Handicap Accessibility
Exit at Level 2 in the parking garage and go through the tunnel to the lift on your left at the end of the tunnel, just before the stairs. Take the lift up to the basement level and check in with the security guard (if one is at the small desk). Then go straight down the long hallway to the first intersection. Turn right and proceed into the foyer. The elevators are on the left. Go up one flight to the first floor. Exit from the elevator and check in with the security guard.

Entering the Capitol Annex
Follow the pedestrian walkway straight ahead through the parking lot and up the entrance area of the Annex.  Look for the second set of doors marked “Visitor Entrance.” Upon entering, you will have the opportunity to put down and bags or other items before walking through a metal detector.  A security guard will ask for your ID, sign you in, and give you a sticker with the date. The guard will ask for your destination.

Navigating the Annex
To get from one floor to another in the annex, you must go to the center entrance to use the main stairwell or the elevators. All other stairways do not permit guest access to the floors. The guards are very helpful in finding your way, as is just about everyone. You can use the cafeteria (located in the basement) if you need a place to sit and rest. The LRC library in the basement is a quiet place to sit.  This can especially be needed if you have children with you.
