Catching Babies is a 60 minute documentary that tells the story of four women as they study to become midwives at Maternidad La Luz midwifery school in El Paso, TX. Kentucky Home Birth Coalition is holding a screening to benefit our work to license Certified Professional Midwives in Kentucky. Come at 6:30 pm for refreshments and socializing. The film begins at 7 pm with a discussion to follow with Jennifer Olliges, a Louisville native midwife who studied at Maternidad La Luz. Please come out for this wonderful event and bring a friend! $5 suggested donation. Bring extra cash or your check book because we will have beautiful posters, DVDs, hand crochet items for sale as well!
