My message to anyone reading this is to listen to what your heart is telling you. Do the research and decide what is best for YOU, not anyone else. You CAN do this. Our bodies were literally designed to do this.
The birth of a baby is such a special thing. The care you get and the environment for bringing your child into the world is important, so I encourage everyone (having a healthy, low-risk pregnancy) to choose what they are most comfortable with and drawn to, taking into consideration what kind of birth they envision.

Proceeds from the online auction provide a major funding source for our advocacy during the coming year. Because of our work, Kentucky now has 25 Licensed Certified Professional Midwives and counting, and we continue working to pave the way for freestanding birth centers in our state!
