Calling

  1. Each weekday, call the LRC Message Line at 800-372-7181
    1. Ask to leave a message for the entire HOUSE Licensing & Occupations Committee: “Vote YES on HB 129. Kentucky needs freestanding birth centers.”
    2. On the same call, ask to leave a message for your Representative: “Vote YES on HB129 and HB54.”
    3. On the same call, ask to leave a message for the entire SENATE Licensing & Occupations Committee: “Vote YES on SB67. Kentucky needs freestanding birth centers.”
    4. On the same call, ask to leave a message for your Senator: “Vote YES for SB 67. Kentucky needs freestanding birth centers.”

The LRC Message Line is open Monday-Thursday 7:00am – 11:00pm EST, and Fridays 7:00am – 6:00pm EST. You do not need to know the name of your legislators. The receptionist will look this up using your address the first time you call.

Email your Senator with the subject line: Constituent email- Support SB67 Birth Centers

Email your Representative with the subject line: Constituent email- HB129 Birth Centers, HB54 LCPM Medicaid Coverage
